Description
A survey of light in all of its manifestations and its impacts, from natural light to artificial, from theatrical to architectural, with introductions to the properties of light, the science behind seeing, and the effects of lighting on human health. The properties of light, from color to angle to intensity to texture to movement will be addressed, as well as the history of the development of lighting technology. The course is ideal for anyone interested in theatre, dance, film, art, architecture, animation and human biology.
