Acting: Improv & Devising in Text and Song explores improvisational theater techniques that develop both your individual creativity and ensemble acting skills. The class focuses on reawakening a sense of spontaneity, discovery, risk, discomfort and play in our work as actors. We will strive to create an environment where every one of us feels free, even when fearful, to take big risks – physical, emotional and vocal - and where our impulses and imagination are not limited by fear. We will investigate ways to boldly, spontaneously and authentically connect to your own impulses, to your partners and to an ensemble.
