Description
Wood and Steel Fundamentals provides students entry level experience in the study of common construction materials, tools and fabrication techniques for wood and steel. Students will gain a working shop knowledge in a comprehensive study of materials, tools and construction techniques commonly used in professional shops and those that support the Visual Arts, Theater, Performance Production and Design majors. Particular focus will be paid to the safe operation of power tools, scenic equipment, and basic construction methodology of projects in both wood and steel.
